REFLECTION

But we all, with an unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror, the Glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory - 2 Cor. 3:18

The images of this picture are a conglomeration of the definitions of the word "Reflection."

One definition produces the effect of another.

Depicted here, is a young woman who has turned from the course of this world.

She now travels a new path where she is progressively being transformed by the renewing of her mind.

The woman is a virgin, for she is undefiled by the world and the religious doctrines of man. Her garments are white and adorned with many precious stones. Trimmed and filled with oil, her lamp burns brightly in the darkness as she awaits the Presence of her beloved.

In a moment of quiet meditation she is "caught up" out of time and space into another realm. Continuing to seek the Presence and will of her Lord, she climbs the ascent into bride hood.

With an unveiled face she gazes into the mirror of the Spirit.

She beholds her reflection as the heavenly City of Zion, the New Jerusalem and the dwelling place of the Lord. Her spirit, soul, mind, and body have become His throne out of which flow the living waters of life unto the world.

She represents a people who are coming into full maturity in their relationship with the Lord.

As they dwell in an intimate union with Him, they are caught up into an unlimited life in Christ. The fullness of the Godhead now lives within them.

While physically remaining on Earth, they manifest the Glory of God.
